There has been a bunch of speculation about what in the world Rashad Evans had on his walkout t-shirt. It wasn’t a shirt bearing logos from all of his sponsors, it was a simple image of a mug shot of Microsoft whiz kid Bill Gates being booked in Albuquerque, NM for a traffic violation. Classic!

Maybe it’s part of their new ad campaign?
very subtle, tries to make MS look like they can be more ‘hip’ than how their brand tends to look kind of geeky.
MS has stuff besides computers that people who don’t work with computers could use (zunes, set top media centers, etc.).
Apple went from (typical) geek to hip with an iPod, not a computer. Why can’t MS with a different product than a computer?
I’ll be honest, I think it’s part of an ad campaign.

I am guessing that was his way of saying “a simple kid from no where can conquer the world”, in a sence. In a huge way Gates has. I love Chuck but last night Rashad was the head Spartan.

The only link between the find I can see is that Rashad trains in Albaquerque and that was where he was arrested at.

Funny thing. Microsoft just started a new campaign featuring this same photo. Check out the new commercial with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld. His “Clown Card” has the mugshot photo on it.
Could it be part of a new Microsoft viral campaign?
