Anderson “The Spider” Silva has been one of the main attractions in the Ultimate Fighting Championships for last 4 years. In this time, not only has he dominated the Middleweight division, but he’s also gained a huge following. Not a man of many words, Anderson is known for his calm, cool, and collected demeanor. Yes, he is capable of in-ring antics from time to time, but there’s no denying his talent and skills to back them up.

Let’s be honest. Anderson Silva is a marketer’s dream. And because of this, he has quite possibly more Walkout T-shirts, Apparel, and Instructionals than any other professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter today. While gearing up for the UFC 117 showdown between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, we thought it’d be fun to take a look back at some of his more memorable UFC Walkout Tee designs with our Top 5 Anderson Silva UFC Walkout T-Shirts!

Jon Jones Form Athletics Walkout T-shirt

Currently 4-1 (1DQ) in the UFC, Jon “Bones” Jones is one of the brightest and most exciting prospects in the light heavyweight division. He is well known with the MMA crowd for his sharp (and often unorthodox) striking and superior wrestling. Who can forget his picture perfect suplex and dominating slams of Stephan Bonnar or his Knockout of the Night awarded elbow that broke Brandon Vera’s face in three places?

Great news for all of the Bones fans out there (and we know there are a lot of them!). Form Athletics is set to release his brand new Form Athletics Jon Bones Jones Walkout T-Shirt. Available soon at MMAOverload.com.

MiddleEasy.com

Per one of my favorite daily reads, MiddleEasy.com:

“Remember that Sakuraba shirt everyone flipped out over? Well it was designed by VXRSI Clothing, creators of an entire line of overly dope MMA apparel. Now we are challenging our readers to create the best MMA shirt on the planet. We know some of you out there are talented enough to take on such a responsibility. If you have what it takes, then enter ‘The Shirt Contest‘ sponsored by VXRSI and be forever considered a baller amongst your peers.

If you can create the best MMA shirt, your shirt will be produced and sold by VXRSI. That’s not all. You will also get an ample amount of free VXRSI gear and an ultra-rare limited edition MiddleEasy shirt created by David Shrigley. The contest is free to enter, all we need is your brain cells.

Contest Rules:

Create your very own shirt incorporating the VXRSI and MiddleEasy logo/brand. Creatively, the contest is pretty open so there are as little restrictions as possible. Refrain from using nudity, brash political statements or racist innuendo (in other words, don’t be an [expletive]). Stay away from using copyrighted material in your design (don’t put a Burger King logo on your VXRSI/MiddleEasy shirt).

Be sure to create your design in the highest quality possible (don’t start your t-shirt on a dinky 300×500 pixel canvas). It’s hard to give specifics on the required dimensions since every design will be different, but the best thing to do is dig in your friend’s tool box and grab a ruler, take out that shirt you spilled beer on last night and measure how big you would like your design to be and just create a new file size in Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp or whatever program you illegally downloaded off the net (you pirate) with the exact dimensions. Simple as that. Be sure your design is created in 300 DPI and is in CMYK colors.

A winner will be selected based on sheer jaw-dropping rawesomeness. VXRSI will then work with the winner to get their concept/design/idea slapped on a shirt and then be sold directly on VXRSI.com. You will also forever be mentioned on MiddleEasy.com as ‘That guy who designed that amazing shirt’.

Submission Rules:

Submit your VXRSI/MiddleEasy shirt design as just a jpeg/gif not measuring more than 600px wide and no larger than 250kb. If it’s a winner, we’ll ask for the actual production files. Feel free to place whatever watermark you would like on your design if think someone out there is going to steal it and build their entire clothing company around your t-shirt concept. All designs must be submitted to VXRSI@middleeasy.com. All designs submitted become property of VXRSI and MiddleEasy.com.

Utilities:

Don’t worry, we got you. The VXRSI and MiddleEasy vector logo can be downloaded here. Using the logo(s) is not required, however at the very least a hint of VXRSI and MiddleEasy must be included somewhere in your design.

Deadline:

Contest ends September 5th 2010. If you have a question or concerns, contact VXRSI@middleeasy.com

Clay Guida UFC 117 Silver Star Electric Guida Tee
If there’s one guarantee when watching Clay “The Carpenter” Guida fight, it’s that he’s going to put it all out there and make it exciting.  Fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championships since UFC 64 (11 fights in total), Guida has gaining in popularity ever since. Even more impressive, Clay has earned both fight of the night (3x) and submission of the night (1x) honors.

Enter the Clay Guida Silver Star UFC 117 Electric Guida Walkout T-shirt. This is easily one of the slicker walkout tees that I’ve seen in some time. It is printed on 30-singles quality material, and features a green wash with an exciting Guida design on front with a skull that slightly resembles his previous Run For the Hills design.

Jesus Didn't Tap

Chances are by now if you enjoy MMA and are of Christian faith you have heard of Jesus Didn’t Tap. Jesus Didn’t Tap was one of the first religion based MMA clothing companies to hit the scene. In the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, to “tap” is to quit or give up. The message of the Jesus Didn’t Tap line is that Jesus didn’t quit after going through unimaginable suffering and pain when he was crucified on the cross.

Jesus Didn’t Tap aims as a company to represent both the competitiveness of MMA and honoring God in all of their designs and hopes it will help spread the Christian message of salvation to a whole new audience. Look out for them, Jesus Didn’t Tap is gaining more and more awareness and popularity by the day.

You can find Jesus Didn’t Tap T-Shirts and their ultra-popular Blue Lion Fight Shorts now at MMAOverload.com!
