The offical walkout tee for Thiago Taveres in his upcoming fight against Armenian, Manvel Gamburyan. Tavares lost two of his last fights and is looking to make a comeback at UFC 94. Helio Gracie, the creator of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu died this morning in his sleep due to natural causes. He was admitted to a local Rio de Janeiro hospital a few days earlier after he complained about having stomach pains. It’s surely a sad day for BJJ entusiasts worldwide.

UFC has released the official event tees for possibly the greatest rematch of all times between BJ Penn and Georges St. Pierre at UFC 94. Round 5 MMA  has recently announced series 3 of their popular collectible MMA star figures. The series includes “Big” John McCarthy, Andrei Arlovski, Frank Mir and Antonio Nogueira. Round 5 plans to release 3 more series within 2009. Within those series will include a Fedor Emelianenko figure. The quality and details of each figurine is superb. Alas, the long awaited battle between two of the top Brazilian fighters in the UFC, Lyoto Machida and Thiago Silva. Both fighters are undefeated and it will be a brawl to see who will remain on top. Our friends over at MMA apparel powerhouse Triumph*United sent the Gymtops.com staff a sneak peek of the new Clay Guida t-shirt. We aren’t sure if it’ll be the his walkout tee for his bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 94, but what we do know is it’s pretty slick. The t-shirt also feature  MMA Stop logos on each sleeve. Off the top, there is only 100 pairs of these custom made shorts available at the American Fighter website. Complete with UFC style hook/loop closure these shorts were made famous by Rich “The Ace” Franklin and were worn during his fight in Dublin at UFC 93 against Dan Henderson.
